The graduate stream of the WA State Nomination Program will be soon more accessible for international students who study in WA.
Major changes are the following:
studies in Vocational sector (VET colleges) and ELICOS (English courses) will also count towards the requirement to study for 2 years in WA
work experience and job offer requirements will be reduced for international students. Graduates will need to demonstrate either 6 months of work experience OR a six months employment contract in their occupation, but not both.
The first invitation round to include VET graduates will be issued in December 2019. Prior to this date, a new Graduate Occupation list will be published. Follow this space for more news.
