QLD government has published their criteria for Skilled visas 190/491 State Nominations.
Candidates can apply under any occupation from SOL (Medium and long term, Short term or Regional for 491) if they meet criteria of one of the Nomination Stream.
The Nomination system is Invitation-based only.
Following 3 Nomination streams are currently open:
1. Skilled workers living in QLD
190 Nominations - points test score at least 80; proficient English; at least 6 months of relevant work experience in QLD and evidence of ongoing employment for further 12 months
491 Nominations - points test score at least 65; proficient English; at least 3 months of relevant work experience in regional QLD and evidence of ongoing employment for further 12 months
2. Graduates of a QLD University
PhD graduates are not required to have job offer, but must have completed their whole course in QLD
Masters and Bachelor graduates are eligible for SC 491 visa and must have 3 months of experience after graduation and job offer in regional QLD
3. Small Business Owner in regional QLD
Must have sole ownership of business operating in regional QLD and hold visa with full work rights amongst other requirements.
