The Department of Home Affairs announced that the relaxation of visa condition 8547 limiting holders of working holiday/work and holiday visas to work only 6 months for one employer has been extended until 30 June 2023.
This change allows working holiday makers to work with any one employer for the duration of their visa, and any work that is carried out before 01 July 2023 will not be counted towards the 6 months limitation period. Therefore woking holiday makers will be able to continue working for any employer for up to additional 6 months from 01 July 2023.
This relaxation applies to all WHM visa holders in Australia (including 417 and 462 visas) regardless of when they arrive, or holders of a Bridging visa with 8547 condition imposed.
