Victoria announced that their skilled visa program will close to new Registrations of Interest (ROI) at on Tuesday, 23 April 2024.
In FY 23-24, VIC received allocation of 3,300 skilled visa places out of which 3,200 nominations have been used.
ROIs already submitted will be considered for any remaining nomination places in the 23-24 program year.
South Australia's DAMA programs have been extended until 2025 and 128 new occupations have been added to SA regional DAMA including construction and trades, agribusiness, ICT, health, education and renewable energy sectors.
Concessions regarding the age, English and skills requirement and TSMIT have been retained, however several occupations such as Grape Grower or Actors, Dancers and other Entertainers have been removed from the DAMAs.Â
