Australian border re-opens for some temporary visa holders

From December 1 fully vaccinated visa holders will be allowed to come to Australia without having to apply for an exemption.

As per today's announcement from PM Scott Morrison, eligible visa holders including skilled workers and student cohorts, temporary working holiday makers and provisional family visa holders will be able to come to Australia without travel exemption from 01 December 2021.

Because of the different rules in each state and territory travellers arriving to Australia may only enter and travel between NSW, Victoria and the ACT without quarantining.

If you wish to travel on to another state or territory you may not be allowed to enter, or may be subject to a quarantine period.

At this stage, Bridging visa B holders are not allowed to travel without exception.
